| Rod
Agar is the Head
Coach of the Windsor Aquatic Club. Rod
has been involved in competitive swimming both as an athlete
and coach for over 35
years, starting as a swimmer at the age of six in Tucson,
AZ. He
has held Canadian records eight times, was Ontario Champion
12 times and in 1981 was recognized with an award for Outstanding
Achievement
in Amateur Sport.
He
has served as Head Coach for the Royal Military College and Queen's
University, Age Group Coach for
Kingston
Blue
Marlins and Assistant Coach for the Oakville Aquatic Club. He
instructs Physical Education and is involved in various
other sport related
activities. His swimmers have competed both nationally
and internationally.
Rod holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with
a major in Physiology, Biomechanics and Psychology of Sport
and he is
currently
completing his NCCP Level III Certification. |
